Orphaned Parrots at Nancy Forrester's Secret Garden in Key West

My name is Nancy Forrester. I am an environmental artist, photographer and educator. It is my privilege to work with unwanted parrots left on my doorstep. I provide a Parrot Sanctuary in Key West, FL for orphaned parrots who need an enriched loving home. I educate parrots about people and people about parrots both captive and wild. A typical human response that I hear when I am out and about with a parrot is "Beautiful" and "Polly Want A Cracker"? My mission is to help people look beyond the birds beautiful plumage and mimicking voice and understand them for the highly intelligent complex social beings that they are, to end the parrot pet trade by encouraging people to adopt not shop and to support the conservation of endangered parrots in the wild.
