Orono Spectral Solutions, Inc.

At OSS, we don't make the detectors, we make the detectors work better. Most chemical detection systems in use suffer from one common problem: poor front-end sampling tools that limit the ability of the detector to properly function. That's where we step in. At OSS, we develop advanced chemical sampling materials that are intelligently packaged into simple to use products and methods that streamlines the entire sample collection-to-detection process.

Located in Bangor, Maine, OSS is a small high tech company that was incorporated in 2004 for the purpose of advancing and commercializing chemical and biological agent detection research being conducted at the University of Maine. At OSS, we conduct research and develop chemical sampling products that satisfy needs within Defense, environmental, and commercial industries.
