O.H.M. Justin James

Welcome to O.H.M. Ordinary Human Musician. The creative home of Australia Composer, Pianist, Presenter and Writer, Justin James. It's also the home of Algorithm Hitz.

Here you'll find original songs and piano music, satires, sketches, recordings and creative projects shaped by curiosity, imagination and a distinctly human approach to music making.

From lyrical character pieces and rhythmic studies to virtuosic concert works and contemporary musical storytelling, this work blends classical craft with groove, humour, atmosphere and expressive pianism.

I opened this channel because somewhere inside me, I love humanity. Just. O.H.M. is where my music, comedy, memory and concern for our maligned species meet. My satire is not always about being funny in the usual sense. It is more about frequency. Pattern recognition. The silence and space between input and output. The strange processing delay where a thought may become a feeling or a crocodile becomes an electrician.
