On This Day at War

One story from the Second World War, every day.

Season 1: World War II, day by day — 1 September 1939 to 2 September 1945. Each short takes one date in the war and tells the one story that belongs to it: the decision, the place, the people who were there, and what it changed. A new one every day.

Every episode is researched against the historical record, and the sources are listed in that episode's description.

HOW THIS CHANNEL IS MADE: the narration is a synthetic (computer) voice, and scripts are drafted with AI assistance and grounded in the cited sources.

Images are public-domain archive photographs and official war art, credited on screen; where an illustration is used it is labelled, not presented as a photograph of the event.

Research, selection and editorial guardrails are the work of a person.

For education and remembrance. No gore. No glorification of any side.
