On The Pond With Dick and Jane

Dick and Jane knew it was time to deal with the trees after a complaint from their propane
company threatened to postpone deliveries.

Red Oaks of questionable character were hacked and whacked and stacked. Several 16’ logs lined the
drive. Each one weighed over 1200 lbs. The prone trees mocked Dick. Would he never be rid of them?

Soon after, three trees fell across the drive. With chainsaw and Gator, Dick and Jane freed the road, but
it would take months to process.

The dilemma weighed on Dick. He took to watching tractor porn and persuaded Jane to watch.

Then one afternoon struck with inspiration or frustration, Dick broadcasted his plan to ‘talk’ to a John
Deere dealer. Tipped off to the unscheduled stream, Jane heard along with world about Dick’s plan to
conquer the mockers, the droppers, and sawed up timber. Jane didn’t mind, as long as Dick didn’t drag
her along.
