Once Made in Canada

Once Made in Canada tells the story of the factories, brands, and towns that built Canadian life, and what happened when they disappeared.

From the steel mills of Hamilton to the auto lines of Oshawa, from farm machinery to kitchen appliances, we explore the iconic "Made in Canada" products families trusted for generations, the workers who built them, and the forces that closed them down or sold them off.
