Omindaré Honey

Bees collect nectar from flowers and store it in their hives, where a process of evaporation and enzymatic transformation occurs, resulting in honey. They store honey in the combs as a food source for the colony, especially during the winter.
Honey is composed mainly of natural sugars, such as fructose and glucose, and also contains small amounts of vitamins, minerals, amino acids and antioxidants. Its composition can vary depending on the bloom (type of flower from which the nectar comes).

3. Properties
Antibacterial and antifungal: Thanks to the presence of hydrogen peroxide and its low pH.

Healing: Widely used to treat wounds and minor burns.

Expectorant and soothing: Used in syrups and teas to relieve coughs and sore throats.

5. Curiosity
Honey is one of the few foods that does not spoil. Jars of honey have been found in Egyptian tombs that are thousands of years old — and are still edible!
