In the beginning, there was nothing. No planes. No pilots. Not even a single packet of airline peanuts

Until, in a thunderous burst of improbable coincidence, two aviators emerged from the mists of destiny

The small one (let us call him Pilotus Minimus) possessed the nimble reflexes of a caffeinated squirrel.
His stature allowed him to fit comfortably into the cockpit without any danger of striking his head on anything… 
except, of course, the occasional flock of particularly low-flying pigeons

The tall one (known as Pilotus Maximus, mostly by himself) embodied grace and elegance...
if “grace” means ducking under a hangar door on the second attempt, 
and “elegance” means finishing a sandwich during a crosswind landing without losing the lettuce.

So strap in, stow your tray table, and prepare for daring departures, eyebrow-raising arrivals, a memorable flight and an unrecognizable lunch
