Old California Botanicals | Marmalade & Fragrance

California’s plants, places, and people—with deep roots.

I’m JP, a seventh-generation Californian with family agricultural roots dating to 1851 and a fifth-generation citrus grower based in Redlands.

Here you’ll find Five Trees, California history, horticulture, agriculture, food, and the stories connecting them. From neighborhood gardens to citrus groves across the state, we explore how California’s landscape shapes our everyday lives.

I also founded Old California Botanicals, bringing that heritage into award-winning citrus marmalade, botanical fragrances, beeswax lip balms, soaps, candles, and gifts.
