Voices of Youth Ensemble

This group is a spin-off from the youth that were apart of the Marcy Newberry Association back in the early 80's. The center was looking to do something different at their youth center so they decided to start a children's choir. The youth would sing, dance and put on shows for the parents and administrative staff.
The group became known in the community and around the city. The age range is from five to twenty-one years old. Ms. Debra Kelly dedicated her work time as well as her personal time to help bring out the talent in each child that was enrolled in the program. The youth were doing so well in the community that they were receiving numerous invitations to perform at events all over the city of Chicago.
