The official Myron Cope channel

This channel is a showcase for Myron Cope, the legendary Pittsburgh broadcaster. With his unforgettable buzzsaw of a voice, Myron was a fixture on Pittsburgh radio & TV for decades, giving his "Myron Cope on Sports" commentaries, hosting a highly popular talk show and offering his colorful analysis during Steeler games, punctuated by shouts of his signature word, "Yoi!"  Thousands turned down the sound on their TV's so they could hear the radio broadcast from Cope and his play-by-play partners -- first Jack Fleming, then Bill Hillgrove. 

Myron also created the flag of Steeler Nation, the Terrible Towel.  Royalties from Towel sales still benefit the Merakey Allegheny Valley School for people with disabilities.
