Off Grid Vanlife UK

We are Pam and Phil, retired, living Off Grid in our self converted Renault Master van.  We began our individual vanlife journeys in 2021, Phil ( with his late wife Chris) in a  self built luton , and I, recently widowed, in a Honda Jazz hatchback.  In 2024 our paths crossed, love blossomed and in October 2024 we bought the Renault van we made into our home, sharing it with a gang of 4 dogs who have their own online following on our You Tube Channel Travelling Tails. 
Our preferred choice of park up is alone in the wilds  - campsites don't really work for us (we did try a couple right at the start of our journey together) or for the dogs, and most UK sites will not accept more than 3 dogs... Spending a lot of our time in Scotland, parking up alone has not been an issue, sometimes the park ups are free, many are run by local communities and ask for an overnight fee or donation, and we do find the odd dog friendly aire for a night.
