On The Rails | Train Hopping & Travel

Marine Corps Veteran. Seasonal Alaska Crabber. Lifetime Vagabond. Zero ticket budget.

Welcome to On Rails, the raw, unscripted journey of train hopping, across North America.
Between brutal seasonal runs commercial crabbing in Alaska, I spent my off-seasons living entirely on the road—vagabonding, catching out on freight trains, hitchhiking long stretches of highway, and sleeping wherever I could pitch a bivvy for free. Just total freedom, raw grit, and the open track.
If you’re fascinated by freight hopping tradecraft, hitchhiking, stealth camping, and the reality of living outside the system, hit subscribe.
