■Kazushi Motomura
CTO at a satellite remote sensing company, specializing in satellite remote sensing and machine learning. After majoring in aerospace engineering as an undergraduate and concentrating on satellite oceanography in graduate school, he joined the Remote Sensing Technology Center of Japan (RESTEC). He later moved to MOL Information Systems, where he formulated and promoted ICT strategies for the group’s global shipping operations, focusing particularly on planning and deploying AI systems. Subsequently, at the Mitsubishi Research Institute, he contributed to AI-driven satellite data projects and examined technology trends. He also authored sections in the Remote Sensing Encyclopedia published by Maruzen Publishing.
