Backyard Neuroscience is a simple home experiment exploring brain waves meditation and flow State. 

I use live EEG to record what happens in the mind while gaming thinking and relaxing. documenting it as it happens. 

No studio

I've been gaming since the days of monochrome. I first put a quarter in space invaders in 1978. Video games have been part of my life ever since.

In 2021 I found myself clinically dead for 25 minutes. I had a near-death experience which changed my perception of reality and what we would consider our sense of self. 

Since then, I've taken up meditation and various practices in order to integrate and understand what had happened to me. To sharpen the sense of perception and focus that appeared after my experiences.

Now I study neurobiology and psychology while I'm gathering data through various experiments to see how the brain works under different circumstances and why.
