North Relics

We’re here for the side of New Zealand most people never see. Not the postcards—but the ghost towns, abandoned places, and forgotten history scattered across both the North and South Island.

We dig into lost places in New Zealand, from empty rural towns to isolated locations that once had life and stories worth telling. Some videos feel like a travel documentary, others like urban exploring—quiet walks through mysterious, sometimes creepy places that still carry the past.

There’s a lot of hidden New Zealand out there: secret locations, historic sites, and small towns that slowly disappeared. We try to document them honestly, without overhyping what they are.

Uploads are regular, depending on what we uncover next.

If you’re into real exploration, New Zealand mysteries, and off-the-beaten-path places, you’ll probably want to stick around.
