We are PUBLIC HEALTH in Cherokee, Fannin, Gilmer, Murray, Pickens, and Whitfield counties! Our vision is healthy people, families, and communities, and our mission is to promote and protect the health of the people in the North Georgia Health District wherever they live, work, and play.

That includes preventing epidemics and injuries, protecting against environmental public health hazards, promoting healthy behaviors, responding to disasters and helping communities prepare and recover, and assisting communities in assessing the quality and accessibility of health services.
