I help homeowners plan, price and manage their own remodeling projects - even without hiring a general contractor. 

I use my 30+ years of residential remodeling experience to provide independent guidance on project planning, contractor selection, bid review, budgeting, and risk avoidance. (My role is strictly advisory, helping you save money and avoid costly mistakes.)

I remember a Tom Hanks movie from many years ago - "The Money Pit" - which was about home remodeling gone terribly wrong. In one scene, a contractor got the slightest impression that he wasn't going to be given a blank check, and was getting in his truck to drive away, with Tom Hanks hanging onto him for dear life, until the contractor finally said, "okay, write me a check for $5000 before I change my mind." This scene - although funny - was way to close to reality!
