NOMAD Home of the Arts Swakopmund

NOMAD Home of the Arts is a creative space in Swakopmund, Namibia for those that love to colour outside the lines and where colours come alive. No pretentious gallery vibes—just a slightly messy hug of a space where beginners, pros, kids and curious wanderers collide, experiment, sip tea (or something stronger) and remember what it feels like to simply be joyful.

NOMAD also run a Community Arts and Crafts Project which, with the help of sponsors, makes it possible to offer workshops and skills training free of charge. 

Travellers to Swakopmund are welcome to join our community of creatives for art and craft classes or to volunteer their time. We enjoy a variety of techniques such as papier mâché, mosaic art, cement casting, recycle art - so donate your household waste - especially newspapers and egg cartons!
