Nokishita Songs

Nokishita Songs — old Japanese songs, for quiet nights.

The songs Japan has sung for a hundred years — lullabies, school songs, songs of the moon and the seasons — played slowly on music box, koto, piano and string quartet. Most are gentle instrumentals for sleep, study, or the last hour before bed. Some are sung.
