Nick in Manila

Nick in Manila — Real Life as It Happens

I moved from the UK to Manila in December 2023 at 54 years old — not to retire, but to start a new chapter. This channel documents real life in Manila as it happens, without scripts, fake hype or polished travel-vlog nonsense.

You’ll find everyday moments, unexpected situations, nightlife, poker sessions, long-term projects, street-level experiences, and the reality of building a new life in the Philippines — the good, the chaotic, and everything in between.

This is Manila from the perspective of someone actually living here.

If you’re curious about Manila, thinking about visiting or moving to the Philippines, or just interested in real life abroad, you’re in the right place.

Questions are always welcome in the comments.
