Nexus Theory of Consciousness

Welcome to the Greatest Mystery of Our Time, the nature of consciousness!

We are here for scientific discussion about the functioning of brains and consciousness, particularly in the context of the Nexus Theory of Consciousness. Nexus Theory is based on the key factor that's been missing from prior attempts to explain consciousness: BIOPHOTONS, the photons of real light that are emitted at low intensities from all living cells. They're well-documented in the scientific literature, but for decades they've been so obscure that few scientists have even heard of them!

See https://BrainAndConsciousness.com for mechanistic details of Nexus Theory in the form of ten short podcast episodes totaling 90 minutes.

Discussion of Nexus Theory and other brain & consciousness topics is at https://www.facebook.com/groups/BrainAndConsciousness/ where you can find a short summary of Nexus Theory 'pinned' at the top of the page.
