NEXO Plays

NEXO is a daily clinical reasoning game for physicians and medical students.

One fictional patient case a day, up to six clues revealed in order, and an answer given as an ICD-10 diagnosis. Instead of marking you right or wrong, NEXO measures how far your answer sits from the correct code on the ICD-10 tree: exact code, same category, same group, same chapter, or different chapter. Missing inside the same category is a different kind of wrong from missing in another chapter, and the feedback says which one it was.

Cases run in daily, continent, and multimedia formats, grouped by medical specialty, published in Portuguese, English, Spanish, French, German, and Russian.

Every case is fictional and written for teaching. NEXO is not medical advice and is not for use with real patients.
