New Ellum

New Ellum is an Americana/ Alt-Country band based in Dallas, TX since 2019.  Their name is an homage to Deep Ellum, the music, art and culture center of Dallas.
New Ellum’s sound is rich with layered vocal harmonies and complex musical melodies. It has a touch of soul, a little bit of blues, and is topped with a Texas Twang. The songs tell stories of love and loss, returning to your roots, family, friends and fishing.
The band consists of: Jason Michael (songwriter, vocals, guitar), Jonathan Mesh (producer, guitar, mandolin), Randy Morris (bass, vocals), Orion Pitts (fiddle, vocals), Chelsea Greenan (keys) and John Solis (drums). New Ellum is thrilled to welcome Jessica Maros (Escondido, Lord Huron) on vocals.
