The Newburgh Project

The Newburgh project aims to virtually rebuild the city of Newburgh, NY, as it stood before Urban Renewal tore down over 1300 buildings in the 1960s and 1970s. The virtual model is based in Minecraft to allow users from all over the world to have easy access to the project. The goal is to educate and inform people from educational, Hudson River Valley and gaming backgrounds alike, encouraging the revitalization of the City of Newburgh.

The project is available on Twitter and Instagram for people interested in following the project.
