I’m Nero, a former whale gacha player who went deep into collection systems and the habits they create. That whole experience is the starting point for everything here. You can find content about that period: if learning from my mistakes can help anyone, it'll be more than worth it!

The focus is on games built around collecting, progression, and limited-time content. That includes gacha games, but also Pokémon in its different forms (VGC, TCG, Unite), and other creature or character-driven games across indie and AAA spaces.

The goal is to find ways to keep all those games enjoyable, intentional, and sustainable. Understanding what pulls you in, what creates pressure, and how to step back when needed.

This is a space for players who like collecting, but don’t want to be owned by the collection.
