Rescue Cat Café Neko no Mori

All of the cats at Neko no Mori are rescue cats.

They were abandoned, came from hoarding situations,
or were forced to survive in harsh conditions.
Each of them has fought hard to stay alive.

Across Japan, many rescue groups work tirelessly
to help cats in need.
Through adoption, we hope to support these efforts
in our own small way.

With guidance from veterinarians at
Totoro Animal Hospital (Yokohama),
the cats receive proper medical care.
After careful daily care and gentle socialization
by our volunteer staff, they make their café debut.

Some cats are shy and may hide,
but we ask for your patience and kindness.

Neko no Mori is an adoption-based rescue cat café
(reservation required).
Even if you can’t adopt,
you’re welcome to visit and spend time with the cats.

For those who live far away,
we hope this video brings you comfort and warmth.
