Nebraskaland Fishing

I land fish with Live Bait for Wipers, Bass, Crappie, and Catfish. I have been consistently fishing one spot with a very good friend who is one of the very best Live Bait Fisherman you will find. Jim Daily has been seining his own bait for over 60 consecutive years, using for personal and selling to bait shops around the state of Nebraska.

I met him about 18 years ago fishing at Johnson Lake Inlet / Spillway (south of Lexington Nebraska) and when no one else was catching a single fish he was catching fish literally every other cast time and time again. Finally, I went to ask him what he was doing. We became friends and he taught me everything I know about fishing, and we have been meeting two to three times a week to fish for the past 18 straight years.

We have learned where the fish ambush bait.

The Keys when fishing is slow is to know where the fish feed, how to present the bait, use small diameter braided line and small hooks to allow the bait to have maximum action.
