North County Martial Arts (NCMA) is a martial arts studio and after school program in Carlsbad, California, teaching the traditional martial art of Tang Soo Do, a Korean fighting style that encompasses karate striking techniques and grappling self defense from Shotokan karate, Subak, taekkyon, and Kung Fu in a disciplined environment.

We serve martial arts to the following communities in San Diego: Carlsbad, Encinitas, and San Marcos.

North County Martial Arts has been teaching karate for the past 20 years to children, teens, and adults, on how to reach their full potential through the life skills of leadership, integrity, goal setting, self discipline, and academic excellence. It is NCMA's goal to build a karate school that offers not only an effective self defense program for children and adults, but also a comprehensive program of personal growth and development. The emphasis on teaching life skills is what sets us apart as a martial arts studio and after school program.
