Nauti Nomads

Welcome aboard ⚓️

We're Lex & Nancy, a Dutch couple of almost 10 years and workaholic business partners for 9 of those. After having been consumed by the ratrace, working from home up to 100hrs/week (each) and neglecting our interpersonal relationships (including our own), we started to get some signals that a drastic lifestyle change was overdue. We decided it was time to re-capture the true qualities of life and start to participate in 'giving back'.

After selling our home, our car and most of our other possessions, we took a bit of a gamble on a 2002 Catana 471 that had been abandoned at dock in the burning Miami sun due to covid. We had her shipped to a boatyard in the French Mediterranean for an 18-month restoration/refit, after which we started to (learn how to) sail 🫡

We are NOT doing this to accumulate YouTube fame or sponsorships. We're keeping our fulltime jobs. We'd just like to compile a video diary while sharing our experiences / lessons with anyone who's interested! 🤙
