Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden - UiA

The Natural History Museum and Botanical Garden - UiA is the only natural history museum in Southern Norway.

At the museum you will find our permanent exhibition "from the ice age to the present", and an annual traveling exhibition.

Due to renovations, the main building will be closed until 2023. As a temporary alternative we can offer an exciting minimuseum. The exhibition's theme is biodiversity and invasive species, displaying species from our local marine and costal areas.

The Botanical Garden and outdoor exhibition (2022), "The Hidden Beauty of Seeds and Fruits" are always open and free of charge!
