Native Child of the World

IYX Radio serves as the broadcast section and media house of IYX Africa, with the ultimate goal of empowering the indigenous voice, and connecting indigenous youth and communities with each other and the rest of the world. 

Through documenting and sharing indigenous stories, culture and knowledge, as well as facilitating meaningful dialogue and discussions on indigenous affairs and sustainable development, IYX Radio aims to empower youth, foster understanding, and promote cultural pride, whilst creating a platform for connection and collaboration among indigenous communities.

By enabling youth to express themselves, tell their story and create their own media, we empower them to contribute to the growing dialogue around indigenous affairs in Southern Africa and around the world, hold their leaders accountable and use their creativity to inspire and impact their community and the world.
