Nathalie THOMAS-VERNEY

Passionate about writing since childhood—my first work was a comic strip created at the age of six—I have always written stories, starting with short tales and moving on to full-length narratives.
However, things took a more serious turn in November 2016 when my short story, "Le Dernier Chant du Rossignol" (The Nightingale’s Last Song), won the writing contest at the Château de La Motte-Tilly (Aube). Encouraged by the jury, I decided to dedicate myself to writing the novel.

After working with two publishing houses, I chose the path of independence and published several novels under my own name, Nathalie Thomas-Verney. Some have won awards, such as "Destins Interdits" (2019)—which received an honorable mention from the jury at the Golden Aster Book awards in Rome—and "Æternitas" (2024), winner of the First Prize for Novels at the Arts Littéraires competition in Toulouse in March 2025.

I invite you to step into my world and—who knows?—perhaps bringing to life new passions of your own.
