Narrowboat 34 Vampires

Welcome to our Continuous Cruiser Narrowboat Adventure!

We’re the couple who thought: “Let’s build a floating home and live on it!” — despite knowing absolutely nothing about boats and having only the vaguest idea what we were letting ourselves in for. What could possibly go wrong? Quite a lot, as it turns out!

Expect stunning views, steep learning curves, questionable decisions, and the occasional need for tea☕️

🛠️ The Build: Watch our steel shell become a cosy cabin. Choosing toilets and paint colours proves considerably more stressful than anticipated. Naturally.

🚤 The Life: Slow days, scenic canals, and the odd mishap — because apparently, boat life involves a surprising amount of bumping into things.

🤦‍♀️ ☕️The Mistakes: We’re no experts, but we share every blunder so you can learn from them. Or, at the very least, have a laugh.

Fancy seeing what happens when two novices swap bricks-and-mortar for a narrowboat? Come aboard!
