Naija Then & Now

Welcome to Naija Then & Now, where we revisit Nigeria’s past to understand its present.

Through old footage, speeches, news reports, promises and predictions from 10, 20, 30, 40, 50 or even 60 years ago, we explore how Nigeria has changed and how events from the past eventually played out.

From politics and infrastructure to culture, entertainment, cities and everyday life, every video brings yesterday and today together in one simple story.

What was Nigeria like then? What has changed? What remained the same? And did the predictions and promises of the past ever become reality?

Subscribe and journey through Nigeria, then and now.
