Nab India Centre for Blind Women and Disabilities

Nab centre for blind women and disability studies, work for the skill training and empowerment of blind girls from across India and parts of Asia as well. 

We at NAB India Centre for Blind Women & Disability Studies, welcome blind women from all walks of life – urban and rural,  to their second home and in some cases their Only home! 

We teach them both modern and contemporary professional skills/crafts which help them rediscover themselves and give them a new lease of life. We train them in cooking, handicraft, customer care and front desk management, spa and therapeutic massages under a program called Talking Hands. Some of the girls are even trained as medical tactile examiners for the detection of early breast cancer using their high tactile sensation.

They, too, are an integral part of our society
We believe this, and we diligently work towards making them believe in this!
