Welcome to the myLo software developer tutorials that are part of the myLocal open source software initiative.  Our first playlist "Tech Stack" goes through the process of how we chose the software that myLocal is built on.  Although these videos focus on myLocal, they emphasize the same core goals found in many software projects: cost-effectiveness, performance, and scalability. Oh, and If you see a marmot around don't be alarmed.  That is our mascot myLo the Olympic Marmot.  He is highly caffeinated, moves surprisingly fast for a marmot, and coincidentally shares the same name as our developer platform.
