Musica Mundo - Rhythms of the World is a project of the ArteGanza Foundation. The project consists of two
components: the Musica Mundo Festival and the Musica Mundo Series.
Musica Mundo Festival is a vibrant annual summer festival with many concerts by various groups and musical styles from all over the world on the Lieve Vrouwekerkhof, Amersfoort, Netherlands: a meeting, an open-air cinema, an after party, a residency and parades through the city. Musica Mundo Festival goes in search of magical sounds and special sounds that connect different continents. Contemporary music groups, as heard in this festival, create their own fusions from these sounds, creating a new sound.
The concerts and workshops in the Musica Mundo Series take place in Theater De Lieve Vrouw and are an addition to the cultural offerings in Amersfoort, the Netherlands.
