Muminunnisa Govt. Mohila College

Muminunnisa Govt. Women’s College is one of the most famous educational institutions in the greater Mymensingh district. More than half a century ago, the college was established in 1959 to pave the way for female education in this part of the country. Some renowned educationists, thinkers and noble hearted great personalities devoted themselves in the initiative of establishing the college. It is with their hearty initiative, the college took the shape a complete institution, overcoming all the hurdles including land requisition, funding and running of the institutional activities. Renowned social reformer Mr. A.R Khan donated the major portion of the finance and helped develop the infrastructure of the college with a view to establishing the college after the name of ...........................
