We are a Government owned development finance agency, incorporated in 2001 as a company limited by guarantee.  We facilitate access to affordable financial services and strengthen management capacities of Cooperatives,  Groups, and Village Savings and Loans Associations. We support Government to deliver financial inclusion and livelihood enhancing programs in line with national, regional and international strategic development plans  such as the National Development Plan, Uganda Vision 2040, Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), and  aspirations of the African Union (AU) and the East African Community (EAC). Our Strategic Plan is also guided by Presidential Strategic Guidelines aimed at social economic transformation.
