Dr. Mat | Junior Golf Mental Game

Your kid shoots 74 in practice and 88 in the tournament. Their swing isn't the problem - it's the 3 hours and 45 minutes they spend in their own head between shots.

I'm Dr. Mat Park, a sport psychologist and a golf dad. New video every Tuesday.

This channel is for parents of junior golfers tired of watching talent disappear under pressure. Every week, one mental performance tool your player can use on the course that week.

Start here: the free Mental Game Handicap Assessment scores all five pillars - Confidence, Resilience, Refocusing, Emotion Regulation, and the Neutral Zone - and tells you which one to work on first.

Founder of the Mental Performance Golf Academy. Former Division I golfer. 11 years at NASA training astronauts for high-pressure environments before turning that work to golf.
