Motion String Orchestra (Classic Music For Motion)

The Motion String Orchestra, founded in 2015, is a baroque ensemble of 13 soloists on string instruments and harpsichord, including musicians from the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Led by artistic director and concertmaster Piotr K. Prysiaznik and co-founded by Marlena M. Troch, the ensemble performs without a conductor, creating a precise and highly responsive musical dialogue.

Their approach combines baroque sound aesthetics with modern performance practice, offering clear, expressive interpretations. The repertoire ranges from well-known composers such as Vivaldi, Bach, and Handel to carefully selected lesser-known works.
