Mothers Pride

In 2023, Mothers Pride has recorded 11 new songs that take them back to the roots of rock'n'roll, to the grit of raw instrumental and convincing melodic work. This is energy, wood, electricity, a lot of taste and imagination, rough here, rocking there, once 110 percent, then 6-eighths – and it will be their 7th album. In 2007, the Lucerne indie rockers delighted old and new fans with their 5th album "Mothers Pride". In 2009, "Love Comes Knocking" followed. Two albums that were in no way inferior to those released by Sony Music at the turn of the millennium ("Halfpastheartache", "Tommy Drives Me Home"). Then they went their separate ways, but have always stressed that the mother band was only on hold. They kept their word and found their way back to the stage in 2019. And now also to the studio. Despite all the breaks, the band has not lost its common thread. They remain true to their unmistakable MP sound, which ranges from Brit-pop, rock and garage to country and lo-fi.
