MONTANDON WATCH HISTORY

Antique Montandon Watches, 1736-1950: A Glimpse into the Past

This channel provides an educational journey into the history of watchmakers and their treasured timepieces. For those who seek to learn more about this curious horological brand, which has largely been obscured by time, a host of hidden gems awaits you. Published content here represents the fruit of many years of delving into the archives, tomes, newsprint data, and genealogical sources concerning the watchmakers, and presenting the horology as evidenced by the timepieces and other material artifacts remaining to us. As a researcher and historian (B.A. ISU, 1991) this data is pulled from material discovered while writing my upcoming treatise - MONTANDON WATCHES, 1736-1950: HISTORY, GENEALOGY & HOROLOGY.

I am also an author of detective and mystery books in the historical fiction genre. A link to my works is provided below.
