Engineering Leadership Council

The goal of this organization is to explore a wide range of engineering disciplines—from civil and chemical to electrical and mechanical—while welcoming anyone, regardless of major.

We connect students with practicing engineers through seminars, field trips (like those to RIT and UB), and hands-on activities in our ELC MakerSpace (including 3D printing workshops). 

We also host talks with real engineering companies to see what they do in the field and undertake projects and competitions that go above and beyond the classroom experience at MCC. 

While we don’t directly provide transfer guidance, our experienced alumni are available to share advice and support any member looking to further their education.
