MockElection

Election history you can vote in. MockElection.com is a nonpartisan voting booth for classrooms, with free lessons on how a free people chose.

Most years the mock election gets skipped, or runs on a forgettable form. Here, teachers, homeschool parents and co-op organizers make an election, share a six-digit election number, and students pull a red lever to vote — no student account, no installation. Free for up to 25 voters.

The lessons trace the American vote from Washington's 1789 election (69 electors, all 69 for him) through the tie of 1800 and Lincoln's 1860 victory, back to Athens and Rome, and forward to today's ballot in all fifty states.

On this channel: election-history shorts, Electoral College explainers, civics lessons and classroom voting resources.

Before the bell, the count is on the board and the questions start.
