Malaysian Nature Society Selangor Branch

Members of the Malaysian Nature Society (MNS) from Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya who are dedicated to the conservation and appreciation of Selangor's natural heritage.

Our Motto:
“Know nature, value nature and act for nature”

The Malaysian Nature Society is Malaysia’s oldest nonprofit, founded even before independence. It began in 1940 when passionate naturalists published the first Malayan Nature Journal. Today, while its headquarters is supported by dedicated staff, many branches—including Selangor—are run by volunteers. Established on 27 June 1953, the Selangor Branch is the largest and most active in the country.
