ML & AI: Foundations & Methods

Learn Machine Learning and AI for free: from the foundations to modern approaches and analysis. This is a free resource based on various courses I have taught over 20 years.

The content is split into Essential, Recommended and Optional categories (with relevant foundational content video series).

1. Essential includes content that is necessary to understanding the methods. It will give you a deep and comprehensive understanding of the core principles and applications of ML. A basic level of calculus/linear algebra is assumed.

2. Recommended includes mathematical (primarily statistical inference) material that is key to understanding intermediate and advanced topics in machine learning and modern AI, mainly analysis of the methods. This would be ideal if you're studying CS/Stats/Maths/Engineering/Sciences, or doing research.

3. Optional material is related to statistical learning theory and background methods.

You can skip material depending on your desires and learning goals.
