The Urban Christian Institute with MJ Jackson 

In 2017 Matthew founded the Urban Christian Institute which is a Parachurch Ministry and Apologetics Organization working to glorify God and promote human flourishing in every area of life. Matthew currently serves as its Theologian in Residence and Director. Matthew has been a guest on numerous podcast and various social media platforms to discuss urban apologetics, culture, politics, and social issues. In 2022 Matthew contributed to the book, Street-Level Apologetics: Passion for the City, Clarity for the People. Matthew lives in Texas with his wife Chiayrsh and has been married since 2018.

Matthew received his Bachelor of Science degree in Christian ministry/Criminal Justice from Mid America Christian University, his Master of Theological Studies and a Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from the Rawlings School of Divinity, Liberty University. Matthew is currently pursuing his PhD at Columbia International University.
