Mission at the Eastward

Mission at the Eastward (MATE) is a nonprofit serving Central Western Maine through volunteer-powered home repairs and transitional housing. Our mission is to love our neighbors by fostering hope, security, and dignity through safe housing. Founded in 1954, we work with church groups, youth teams, and individuals who come to Maine to serve those in need.

On this channel, you'll find volunteer orientation videos, project updates, homeowner stories, and resources to prepare for your mission experience. Whether you're serving for a week or supporting our cause from afar, we invite you to be part of our journey of faith in action.
